At Piano Land we take our selection process seriously. All pianos are pre-selected from supplier lists which are based on our strict criteria and quality grading system. We even take our selection process a step further by inspecting each pre-selected piano in person in Japan before purchasing.

Shipping & Logistics
Shipping pianos from Japan to New Zealand can be a delicate process due to the potential impact of extreme temperature variations during the journey. Transshipment, now commonplace post-COVID, can also increase the risk of damage to containers and is an added concern for those who have purchased a piano from Japan.
Our Piano Land team have extensive experience in logistics, and have developed trusted relationships with reputable companies allowing us to minimise the risk of damage to the pianos during transit, ensuring that they arrive in perfect condition.
Servicing
Once the pianos arrive in New Zealand our in-house technicians conduct a full reinspection and service. This includes full regulation, voicing and tuning before the piano is placed in Piano Land for sale.
